Plum Pretty defeated her rivals in the $200,000 Sunland Park Oaks on March 29th by an unbelievable 25 lengths. This margin of victory, being described as “Rachel Alexandra-like”, is among the largest at Sunland Park. She finished the 1 1/16 mile race in 1:43.18, earning a 100 beyer. Plum Pretty has now placed herself as a top contender for a spot in the Kentucky Oaks on May 6. This race has now raised the filly’s career to twice first and twice third in four career starts with earnings of $190,800.
